  12.      pnmarith -add|-subtract|-multiply _✓p_✓n_✓m_✓f_✓i_✓l_✓e_✓1 _✓p_✓n_✓m_✓f_✓i_✓l_✓e_✓2

  14. DESCRIPTION
  15.      Reads two portable anymaps as input.  Performs the specified
  16.      arithmetic operation, and produces a portable anymap as out-
  17.      put.  The two input anymaps  must  be  the  same  width  and
  18.      height.

  20.      The arithmetic is performed between corresponding pixels  in
  21.      the  two  anymaps,  with  maxval as 1.0, black as 0.0, and a
  22.      linear scale in  between.   Results  that  fall  outside  of
  23.      [0..1) are truncated.

  25.      All flags can be abbreviated to their shortest  unique  pre-
  26.      fix.
